About this site

ajaxmodel.dev is an independent tracker answering one question: is PewDiePie's Ajax AI model out yet?It is not affiliated with PewDiePie, Odysseus or Alibaba/Qwen. It exists because no single page on the internet answered "is it out" — the news results all describe the announcement, not the current state.

How monitoring works

A Cloudflare Worker checks five sources every 15 minutes: the text of the official page (data.pewdiepie.com), the Odysseus GitHub repo's releases and recent commits, Hugging Face for official-author uploads, PewDiePie's YouTube channel feed, and Reddit search results on two subreddits. Each check stores a fingerprint; when a fingerprint changes, a pending alert is created and sent to the operator.

A human confirms every status change. Release day will bring fake Hugging Face repos, clickbait videos and premature "it's out" posts — one wrong automatic flip would destroy this site's only asset, which is being right. Detected changes become status updates only after manual review; that's why the status box lists its evidence links.

Methodology & sources

Every factual claim on this site traces to a small fixed source list maintained in the project: the official page, Decrypt, Tom's Hardware, The Frontier, sudoreview, Interesting Engineering and the Odysseus GitHub repo. Claims carrying a date link to their source. Derived numbers (VRAM figures, "expected", "likely") are labelled as estimates.

Correction policy

If something here is wrong, email hello@ajaxmodel.dev with the claim and a source. Corrections are applied to the page and noted in the changelog when they affect the status or timeline.
