PewDiePie Ajax download: status and the only official link

The only official link
The single official distribution point announced so far isdata.pewdiepie.com. The "Download Ajax here" link in the video description points there, and the page currently reads "Ajax - Coming soon". There is nothing to download yet - no weights, no model card, no license file, no torrent, no magnet link.
As of our check on 2026-10-07 there is also no Hugging Face repository from PewDiePie or the odysseus-dev organisation. The Frontierconfirmed the same on 2026-10-03. Other models named "ajax" exist on Hugging Face - they are unrelated uploads by unrelated authors, not PewDiePie's Ajax AI model.
How to recognise fakes
On release day, fake repos will appear within hours. Before downloading anything called "Ajax", check:
- Author. Anything not linked from data.pewdiepie.com or an official PewDiePie channel is unverified. On Hugging Face, check the organisation name - random user accounts re-uploading "ajax-qwen" weights are not official.
- No model card. A genuine release should come with a model card or license note. A bare weights upload with an empty README is a red flag.
- Re-uploads. Even if the real weights leak or are mirrored, third-party re-uploads can be tampered with. Prefer the file hashes published at the official link, once they exist.
- Executable files. Model weights are data. Anything distributed as an installer, .exe, or script asking for credentials is not a model.

- Direct download links from the official page
- File names and sizes for each released build
- Formats (GGUF / AWQ / MLX / safetensors - unknown until release)
- Official checksums (SHA-256) if published
- License terms, including whether commercial use or hosted inference is allowed
Placeholder - nothing above is known yet. The base model is a 9B, so released files will most plausibly be in the ~5–22 GB range depending on precision, but that is an inference, not an announcement. SeeVRAM requirements (estimates) and how to run it locally once files exist.
